No. Your purchase is limited to a single use access and will be accessible until you use it.


What version and edition of Simply Accounting by Sage are the exams based on?
The current series of exams do include functions and features up to and including Version 2007, Basic Edition.


Is there a time limit for the exams?
Yes, there is a maximum time set for exams. Time allotments are generous and should allow you to check your knowledge on an as needed basis. Time limits are as follows:

Does the timer start as soon as I purchase my exam?
No, the timer does on start until you initiate the exam process.

Can I pause my exam, and come back to it later?
No. The exam is designed as a skills gap evaluation tool and therefore time limits are required.

Can I have Simply Accounting open while I write the exam?
Yes, you can have Simply Accounting open while you write the exam for quick reference and confirmation of your knowledge. However, it is definitely not necessary or required.

Is there a “Passing Mark”?
No. The Simply Accounting Exam Series is designed to be an evaluation tool. The participant will receive an overall score and a detailed score broken down by category/module. This format identifies areas of strength and areas where additional training would be beneficial.

Are the exams the same each time they are taken?
No. The questions are drawn at random by category from a pool of hundreds of questions.

Does your site keep track of my score?
Yes. Our site keeps track of every exam you take, and the scores for each exam.

How will I receive the results of my exam and how long will it take?
The results of the exam will be e-mailed to the person/entity that paid for it immediately upon completion.

How do I get help?
You can obtain help by using the support link on the menu, and sending a support request to us.

What happens if I forget my username or password?
If you cannot remember your login information, click HERE and we will send that information to you to the e-mail address you signed up with.

After I purchase, do you send me a CD so I can take the exam?
No, all of our content and exam taking process is online. Once you purchase your exam online, you can access your account and your purchased material from any computer that has internet access.
